DID 420D:
Som en efterfølger til 420 standard kæde, blev en ny teknologi til produktion af rullerne, der anvendes i 420D. Hidtil blev de ruller omviklet af metalplade strimmel, hvorved en søm og dermed et svagt punkt oprettet. Anvendelse af den nye teknologi, at rollerne af runde materiale fremstilles og en søm undgås.
